A Unique Oasis Among Rolling Hills

Originally part of a land grant from Mexico, the rolling hills and flatlands of North Orange County were once used as vineyards and orange groves. The communities feature housing from affordable to expensive multi-million dollar estates, some with views of city lights and the snow covered mountains to the north in winter. The region has excellent schools, beautiful golf courses, numerous sports facilities, saddle clubs, shopping centers, major banks, movie theaters, restaurants, office complexes, public libraries, parks, a reservoir, hiking trails, a twenty mile bike trail along the Santa Ana River, and easy access to Interstate 91 freeway and a new toll road to Irvine.

Anaheim Hills, located on the eastern end of the city of Anaheim, was known as the Nohl Ranch and was pasture and grazing land. It was developed into a planned community in 1972. Anaheim Hills is surrounded by Yorba Linda, Orange, and Villa Park and includes Peralta Hills and East Hills. Located in Orange County, Southern California, it is comprised of approximately 26,000 households. One third of the residential real estate is relatively new and in planned or gated communities. Affordable and expensive multi-million dollar estates, houses for sale with swimming pools and spas enjoy views of city lights and snow covered mountains in winter.

The community, part of the Orange Unified School District, has excellent schools, a public championship eighteen-hole golf course, an eleven-court racquet club, saddle clubs, shopping centers, major banks, movie theaters, restaurants, office complexes, a public library, parks, a reservoir, Oak Canyon Nature Center with eight miles of hiking trails, a twenty mile bike trail along the Santa Ana River, and easy access to Interstate 91 freeway and a new toll road to Irvine.
