Population: 31,306 The City of DANVILLE is an ideal small town. Nestled in the foothills of the tallest peak in the Bay Area (Mt. It is serviced by three major airports: San Francisco International (about 48 miles), San Jose International (about 38 miles) and Oakland International (about 28 miles). Less than ten miles either North or South rapid transit is available to reach most of the East Bay Cities including Oakland and to the West Bay to San Francisco. Major freeway access to #680 North and South, #580 East and West and #24 West will get you there.
