Population: 31,306 The City of DANVILLE is an ideal small town. Nestled in the foothills of the tallest peak in the Bay Area (Mt. Diablo) the town has scenic beauty, quality housing, excellent schools and a low incidence of crime. The town planners have sought to maintain Danville's sense of history while guiding it into the 21st century. Danville is noted for its small town atmosphere and its outstanding quality of life.
Approximately 80% of adults are college educated, and about 82% of the residents are families. The inhabitants are high income earners with the mean household income exceeding $95,000 and 54% of the families' income exceeding $75,000.

Located in Contra Costa County, in the San Ramon Valley just about 44 miles East of San Francisco, 35 miles North of San Jose, 7 miles South of Walnut Creek and about one and a half hours Southwest of Sacramento. It is serviced by three major airports: San Francisco International (about 48 miles), San Jose International (about 38 miles) and Oakland International (about 28 miles). Less than ten miles either North or South rapid transit is available to reach most of the East Bay Cities including Oakland and to the West Bay to San Francisco. Major freeway access to #680 North and South, #580 East and West and #24 West will get you there.
