Within the La Canada Unified School District, there are three public elementary school and a junior/senior high school. La Canada High School has been named a National Blue Ribbon School, placing it among the nation's top 100 high schools. The La Canada Flintridge Education Foundation, formed to raise money for the school district, has contributed more than $6 million since its founding, with annual giving targets of more than $500,000. The La Canada Flintridge Scholarship Foundation annually distributes more than $30,000 to deserving students. And a variety of other support groups contribute large amounts of time and money to support public math and science programs, art programs, special education, athletic, band, choral, and drama.
