This department oversees ten miles of urban trails, a Horse Country Arena, an in-line Skate Park and hockey rink, Fort Uncompahgre Living History Museum, over 300 acres of parks land, and a full-service recreation center offering aquatics, fitness, leisure & older adult, sports and youth activities and programs.

The Delta 300 plus acre park system encompasses eight parks throughout the city with ten miles of urban trails and a city-wide tree & flower landscaping program.
