The town of Norfolk is located in western Connecticut on the Massachusetts border, covers 46.7 square miles and is home to approximately 2,270 residents. Norfolk was settled in 1774 by Cornelius Brown of Windsor. The town was incorporated in 1758 with forty-four voters at the first town meeting. Norfolk continues to draw a large summer community with its cool summers and beautiful landscape. The town sponsors many summer activities with a cultural and artistic focus.
