(Laa Laa Land)
Originally established as a religious summer camp, Rehoboth Beach is now a vacation mecca for all. Located on the southern shores of Cape Henlopen, Rehoboth Beach is just 10 miles south of Historic Lewes and 180 miles due north of Ocean City Maryland.
Blooming during the Victorian Era, the downtown district has managed to maintain its seaside resort beauty and charm while continuing to keep the pace of the times. An enormous boardwalk, running the length of the beach, is lined with novel shops and wonderful eateries featuring a diverse selection sure to please even the pickeist of palettes. Several galleries display works from local talent while area museums speak of life as it was for the first settlers of the region. Theatre for all ages host performances including dramas, comedies, and musicals as well as the Annual Rehoboth Film Festival. Other yearly celebrations include a Jazz Festival, Sea Witch Halloween, and the World Championship Punkin Chunkin!
Recreational possibilities are endless. Rehoboth is surrounded by State Parks and recreation areas featuring sand dunes open for walking, nature centers and trails, every watersport imaginable, camping, tennis, surf fishing, swimming, biking, and much, much more. This is the land of leisure, fun, and festivities as well as being the perfect place to work and live.
