Palm Coast is located in Flagler County

Population: 38,348 Along the eastern coast of Florida, midway between the home of the Daytona 500 International Speedway and the quaint old city of St. Augustine, lies one of the most beautiful pristine counties in the state. With our uncrowded beaches, historic ruins, public rose gardens, tranquil waterways and subtropical forests, the ever-changing Atlantic Ocean, freshwater lakes, seven championship golf courses, tennis, unlimited water sports, and the World's oldest marine attraction, Flagler County has something for everyone who visits. For those who choose to make it their home--well, most would say, "It's paradise!"

Palm Coast is situated in the eastern portion of Flagler County, in the heart of Northeast Florida, equidistant between the cities of Jacksonville and Orlando. As of April 2002 the City of Palm Coast had a population of 38,348 residents and covers an area of approximately 50 square miles.

Developed by ITT Corporation in 1969, the original development plan encompasses 48,000 home sites on approximately 42,000 acres (65.62 square miles) of the 68,000 acres originally owned by ITT. Paved streets and central water and sewer serve all lots developed within the plan. An extensive water management system was designed to replenish the area's water table, which includes 46 miles of freshwater canals and 23 miles of saltwater canals.

The 17 miles of pristine beaches in the Palm Coast area consistently rank among the top in the country. Superb fishing, golfing, tennis, boating and sun nearly year round make this a one of a kind hidden treasure.
