Today, 22 acres of pristine Florida coastline houses the famous Safety Harbor Resort and Spa which remains one of the world's finest spa destinations and continues to attract health conscious visitors to the area. Today 17,000 persons call Safety Harbor their home. Primarily a residential community the City has maintained the character of a family oriented community while preserving our environmentally sensitive lands and revitalizing our historic downtown Business District.

The Safety Harbor Fishing Pier is located just south of the Safety Harbor Spa. If you're not into fishing, perhaps you would enjoy the picturesque view of Tampa Bay form the Marina Park. While you're there you can take a leisurely stroll along the Bayshore Linear Park. The Bayshore Linear Greenway measured walking path is a new addition to Bayshore Linear Park. This path begins at the Safety Harbor Marina and leads north on N. Bayshore Drive to Philippe Park. Leading south the Greenway stretches to the City of Clearwater's Cooper Bayou Park. The sidewalk path is marked in 1/4 mile increments and is a perfect scenic route for walkers, joggers, and bicyclists.
