A Great Place to Learn!
The Forsyth County School System serves over 20,300 students. All 23 schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and have exceeded the standards as defined and measured by the Georgia Department of Education.
Our schools are experiencing ever-increasing growth rates as more and more families are attracted to our smaller, caring schools where the type of personalized education they are seeking for their children is available and where excellence is the standard.
Achieving excellence isn’t just good; it’s a program. The foundation of this program is our participation as one of ten pilot districts in the nation selected for the Standard Bearer School District Network sponsored by the Center for Leadership in School Reform. The ten districts are committed to dramatic improvement in student performance. Each has a track record of working diligently to improve the schooling experience so that all students learn what schools, parents and the community expect for students to be considered well-educated.
