Denville, a 13.7 square mile community, is centrally located in and known as the "hub" of Morris County. Denville is well known for its restaurants, with more than 20 establishments catering to all tastes and budgets.

As part of Morris County, Denville has access to the rich in history of the area. Included are many lovely museums and historical sites such as Jockey Hollow (Morristown Historical Park), Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, the Frelinghuysen Arboretum and the Morris Art Museum. Recreational areas are extensive, offering many parks, riding and biking trails, golf courses, tennis courts, equestrian facilities, community pools and lakes. Denville is within an hour's commute to NYC with easy access to its extensive cultural, sports, dining and employment opportunities.

In terms of commutation, Denville is in an excellent location with easy access to major highways including routes 10, 46, 80, 287 and 202. It is the junction for the Boonton and Morristown branches of the New Jersey Transit rail commutation service; and service to Newark and New York City is excellent. Fast bus service in to mid-town is also available. Morristown Municipal Airport houses corporate jets for businesses.

The Denville School District offers efficient and well-developed programs. In addition, several private schools make their home in nearby communities. The opportunity for higher learning at the college and university levels is also available within Morris County at Drew University (Madison), Fairleigh Dickenson University (Madison-Florham Park), St. Elizabeth's College (Convent Station) and Morris County Community College (Randolph).

Many civic organizations and volunteer opportunities abound within Denville such as garden clubs, historical societies, political clubs, church groups, rescue squad and volunteer fire as well as other community interest and civic groups.
