As part of the New York metropolitan area, Morris Township has easy access to NYC and its extensive cultural, sports, dining and employment opportunities.
In terms of commutation, the Township located close to major highways such as: State Routes 10 and 24; U.S. Routes 46 and 202; and Interstates 78, 80, 280 and 287. New Jersey Transit provides rail commutation service, with direct access to New York City, plus local and area bus service. Morristown Municipal Airport houses corporate jets for businesses.
