The City of Middletown is blessed with many beautiful and varied park areas: Academy Avenue Park, Beattie Hill Park, Ben and Paula Amchir Park, Bennett Hill Park, Chappell Park, Fancher-Davidge Park, Jerry's Park, Linden Avenue Park, Maple Hill Park, Sproat Street Park, Thrall Park, Wallace Park and Watts Memorial Park. Facilities accommodate baseball, basketball, bicycling, fishing, football, horse shows, outdoor concerts, ice skating, jogging, picnics, playground activities, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, walking or just relaxing with family or friends. Reservations for the picnic pavilions in Fancher-Davidge, Amchir and Maple Hill Parks are accepted beginning in January for dates between May 15th and October 15th of each year. "Revocable Permits" are also issued for other requested use of City park property.

Activities include: After School Programs, Basketball, Baton Twirling, Community Center Programs, Elementary and Middle School Dances, Pre-School Programs, Swim Team, Teen Programs, Tennis, Track and Field and Volleyball.
