Millington is located along U.S. Highway 51, with easy access to Interstate 40, 240 and 55, in northern Shelby County, five miles from Memphis.

Millington, nestled in a beautiful section of northern Shelby County that's dotted with peach orchards, cotton fields, a myriad of lakes and crisscrossed by bridle paths through the scenic wooded countryside, is a community with just the right balance of yesterday and today.

Millington is home to the Naval Support Activity Mid-South naval base, one of the largest single employers in the state of Tennessee, with approximately 6000 military, civilian and contractor employees on 1,950 acres.
