Frisco ISD continues to be the fastest growing school district in the state of Texas, with an annual increase by 20-30 percent.  FISD serves residents of Collin and Denton Counties, and some portions of Plano, Little Elm and McKinney.

The Fairways at The Trails is a premiere golf course community located in the heart of Frisco. Children can attend the highly rated Frisco Independent School District, and a new elementary school is located close to the community. The Fairways at the Trails is within close proximity to major shopping and restaurants, and provides easy access to Highway 121 and the Dallas North Tollway. Lone Star Ranch is the exclusive 4,000-acre master planned community in Frisco with 10 miles of frontage on Lake Lewisville. Frisco also has diverse multi-family housing with over 3,500 new apartment units.

Families moving to Frisco often include grandparents who plan to be near their families. In addition to the homes within new and existing neighborhoods, many areas are being developed specifically with seniors in mind.
