Some may think Highland is nothing more than a spot on the map but if you live in Highland you know its much more than that. Its a place where people choose to live together in harmony--who care about one another--want what's best for one another. Its a special place where you have always wanted to be, a place you want to share. Its home and has always felt that way. Welcome home.

As you pass through Highland you will notice the beauty of the picturesque mountains which surround our community. You will observe that our homes, landscaping and public places are well maintained. You will pass many new homes currently being constructed by people like you, who have selected Highland as their home--to live and raise a family. This is the real beauty of Highland.

Highlanders are proud of what has been accomplished since we officially became a city in 1977. As Highland has grown so have the opportunities for added service and participation. Our city has earned a place of respect and admiration among other communities throughout Utah. This is largely due to the many thousands of hours of dedicated volunteer effort given each year to make our community successful and enjoyable.
