(Thanksgiving Point)
The downtown area has managed to retain most of its Old West style and is host to the annual Lehi Roundup, one of the oldest rodeo celebrations still held in the state. Lehi is also known for being the home of Thanksgiving Point, a 700-acre farm that's much more than just a farm. After 7 years of hard work and planning, the old farm has been transformed into a fifty-five acre Thanksgiving Garden, the Children's Discovery Garden, a 180-seat fine dining restaurant, a European-style Deli and Old-fashioned Soda Fountain, eight large conference and banquet rooms, a 13,000 square foot garden emporium, two outdoor reception areas, ten acres of Backyard Gardens, a 200-seat outdoor amphitheater, a vegetable display garden, a farmer's market, an animal park, a large pasture, a tree farm, ten production greenhouses, the world's largest dinosaur exhibit, and an 18-hole championship golf course. It's a popular place year-round for residents and visitors alike.
Another Lehi business that's still going strong for almost a century is the Lehi Mill. Family owned and operated since 1906, the mill still produces the fine flours and cereal grains that go into making some of the country's best cakes, muffins, cobblers, cereals, pancakes, bread, cookies, brownies, fudge, and baked apple pudding. The mill is representative of Lehi's proud traditions and community support for its residents as well as a sense of family one feels among friendly, helpful neighbors.
