Logan is the home of Utah State University, an accredited four-year college which is the source of many cultural and sporting activities in the area. The town itself boasts many attractions of its own, including the Ellen Eccles Theater and nearby historical museums. The residents of Logan are proud of the relatively vast number of amenities compared with towns of similar size. A high quality of life is preserved by a low crime rate and the quiet and friendly rural atmosphere.

Logan is located at the intersection of US 91 and US 89. It is situated 90 minutes north of Salt Lake City and about 40 miles north of Ogden and is about 10 miles from the I-15 and I-84. The Great Salt Lake is 30 miles to the southwest and both Idaho and Wyoming state borders are within 45 minutes by car.
