Very rich in history, Centreville, chartered in 1792, has historical landmarks such as Sully Plantation, the Mt. Gilead House, the Old Stone Church, and the Ox Hill Battlefield sites. These serve as just a few of the many reminders of the heritage embedded in Centreville.  Centreville is comprised of over 95 official Home Owner Association (HOA) operated neighborhood communities, each with it's own amenities.  Over the last decade, Centreville has more than doubled in size, now reaching a population of over 48,600 citizens.
