Gilead House, the Old Stone Church, and the Ox Hill Battlefield sites. These serve as just a few of the many reminders of the heritage embedded in Centreville. Centreville is comprised of over 95 official Home Owner Association (HOA) operated neighborhood communities, each with it's own amenities. These schools are managed by the Fairfax County School Board with a 2002-2003 annual budget of 1.5 billion dollars. The life-blood of any community is it's devoted volunteer community organizations.
