Homes101 is owned and produced by HomeRoute - Online Real Estate Services, a licensed Michigan real estate company. HomeRoute is a member of the National Associates of REALTORS®, Michigan Association of REALTORS® and our local association, LAR. The principal broker is Steve Nickerson, who holds the designations of CRS, GRI and ABR.

Mr. Nickerson founded HomeRoute in 1996 as a place for local real estate professionals to come together to attract the early online consumers. Within a year the company had over 2,000 sponsoring REALTORS® on their online service. In late 1999, Homes101 launched and was an immediate hit in the industry. Thousands of consumers visit daily looking to increase their knowledge of real estate as they enter the marketplace. In addition, consumers are presented with some of the best real estate professionals in the business today.

Although HomeRoute is a real estate company, it does not sell real estate to the local marketplace. The company's primary focus is to produce successful online programs that provide consumers with quality resources while providing their members with an opportunity to feature their services in a unique way to their local marketplace.

HomeRoute was recognized by INC. Magazine in 2003 as one of the fastest growing companies in America. Key to the company's growth has been its demonstrated care of clients and their individual needs. "Our goal is to be a key partner for our clients by providing extraordinary features that help provide them more opportunities and better results," said Nickerson.

In December 2003, HomeRoute completed construction of its own corporate headquarters featuring 17,000 sq ft. of state-of-the-art facilities located in Howell, MI. Conveniently located between Lansing, Ann Arbor, Detroit and Flint.
