Skipper has been living in the historic town of Oxford since 1980. In his real estate career, which began in 1987, Skipper has been a multi-million dollar producer including being the selling broker of notable waterfront estates such as Ratcliffe Manor, Marengo Farm, Shipyard Point, and Woodwinds. A past president of the Mid-Shore Board Of Realtors, Skipper was recognized by his peers as 1998 Realtor Of the Year. He lives with his wife, Leigh, who is a Healthy Start Nurse for Caroline County. Both are avid supporters of the Tred Avon Players and Skipper serves on its board as well as on the board of the Oxford Museum. Skipper also serves as the Fleet Admiral for the Boat Bums International Cardboard Boat Race Fundraiser for Maryland Special Olympics.
